Samira Negrete, a senior at Van Nuys High, won the girls 800 meters in 2:21.69 at the CIF L.A. City Section Finals at Scott King Track at Birmingham High's Rick Prizant Stadium. Negrete won the freshman/sophomore title in 2:29.24 in 2019.
